Sun Valley Community had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Filer Wildcats with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering Sun Valley Community have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Filer with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chris Arenas (2), Rasmus Lahdesmaki, Tommy Hovey, and Anders Coulter.

Sun Valley Community's win bumped their record up to 12-2-2. As for Filer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
