O'Neill had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Fallsburg Comets a 3-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for O'Neill, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Erick Guzhnay and Joe Padula scored all three of O'Neill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for O'Neill and bumps their season record up to 12-2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Fallsburg, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7-2.

As of now, neither O'Neill nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
