Softball Recap: Irondequoit Comes Up Short

Irondequoit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 19-5 to the Webster Thomas Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Titans this season, with their most recent loss being a 19-5 defeat on Tuesday.

Irondequoit's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Webster Thomas, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Irondequoit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 18-5 defeat against Hilton on the 14th. As for Webster Thomas, they will take on Brighton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
