After failing to score in their last matchup, Mitchell made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cypress Creek on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Cypress Creek Coyotes. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Cypress Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Thomas Lutz (2), David Gillespie, and Asher Bode.

Mitchell pushed their record up to 11-1-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those six contests. As for Cypress Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
