Softball Recap: Saint Viator Lions vs. Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers
Saint Viator was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Saturday.
Saint Viator saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Horn, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Saint Viator's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Joliet Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.
Looking ahead, Saint Viator will head out to face off against IC Catholic Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
