Softball Recap: Splendora Comes Up Short

Splendora came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Hargrave Falcons by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since February 17, 2024.

Splendora's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hargrave, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Splendora will head out to square off against Pasadena at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hargrave, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Brook at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hargrave is facing West Brook at the right time seeing as West Brook is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
