Softball Recap: Meyersdale Comes Up Short

Meyersdale blew Windber out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Windber got their revenge. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Ramblers by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Red Raiders have suffered since April 22, 2024.

Amber Long made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Meyersdale's record now sits at 8-5. As for Windber, their record is now 10-5-1.

Meyersdale has already played their next matchup, a 7-3 loss against Northern Garrett on the 5th. As for Windber, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 19-0 win against Blacklick Valley on the 5th.
