Basketball Recap: Cement Drops Season-High Score on Cyril

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cement). They blew past the Cyril Pirates, posting a 91-14 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Pirates are ranked 49th).

Cement is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for Cyril, they moved to 11-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Cement will venture away from home to challenge Dove Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 28th. Cyril has already played their next game (against Fort Cobb-Broxton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
