St. Marys put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 65-58 win over the Sabetha Bluejays. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Bluejays are ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Marys' victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Sabetha, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Marys will host Perry-Lecompton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sabetha, they will square off against Holton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
