Volleyball Recap: North Branford Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

North Branford had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Morgan Huskies. The Thunderbirds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

North Branford was led to victory by Alexa Snedeker and Lauren Vitarisi. Snedeker had ten digs and one assist, while Vitarisi had ten digs and four aces. Vitarisi has been hot recently, having also posted 13 or more assists the last four times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: North Branford was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. They are a perfect 6-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

North Branford's record is now 7-2. As for Morgan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, North Branford will face off against Hand at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Morgan, they will square off against Coginchaug Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
