Soccer Game Preview: Middleton vs. Gibson County

The Middleton Tigers will square off against the Gibson County Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Middleton came up short against Hardin County, falling 7-2. Middleton hasn't had much luck with Hardin County recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Gibson County kept a clean sheet against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 9-0 victory.

Middleton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gibson County, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Middleton might still be hurting after the 10-1 loss they got from Gibson County in their previous meeting back in March of 2021. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Middleton was down 6-0.
