Basketball Recap: Timberland Comes Up Short

If Timberland was riding high fresh off their 56-19 takedown of Fort Zumwalt East last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The T-Wolves were beaten by the St. Dominic Crusaders 60-30 on Wednesday. The T-Wolves haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Timberland's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for St. Dominic, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.

Timberland and St. Dominic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The T-Wolves will face off against Fort Zumwalt South at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (310 vs. 52). Meanwhile, St. Dominic (ranked 86th) will meet Cor Jesu Academy (ranked ninth) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
