Baseball Recap: Coral Glades Takes a Loss

Coral Glades has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.13 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Taravella Trojans. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Coral Glades saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Beaty, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Coral Glades' defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Taravella, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coral Glades will venture away from home to square off against North Broward Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taravella, they will head out to take on ABF Academy Homestead at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
