Football Game Preview: La Habra Highlanders vs. Bakersfield Christian Eagles + How To Watch

The La Habra Highlanders will take on the Bakersfield Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with La Habra sitting on six straight wins and Bakersfield Christian on 12.

La Habra is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They strolled past San Jacinto with points to spare, taking the game 27-13.

Kevika Mata'Utia- Martinez produced another solid effort rushing for 205 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 205 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. DJ Mitchell was another key player, rushing for 93 yards on only seven carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: La Habra was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Bakersfield Christian got the win against Liberty two weeks ago by a conclusive 38-16. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

La Habra better keep an eye on Darriyon Page. He was instrumental in Bakersfield Christian's win, rushing for 178 yards and three touchdowns.
