Basketball Game Preview: Phoenix Academy Firebirds vs. Northwood Academy Chargers

The Phoenix Academy Firebirds and the Northwood Academy Chargers will round out the year against one another at at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Phoenix Academy has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the second.

Meanwhile, Northwood Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 51-38 to Greenup County.

Phoenix Academy will have to contain Elyjah Oler as he made an impact in Northwood Academy's last game. He posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Meadows, who earned five points and 12 rebounds.

Phoenix Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northwood Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
