Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fairmont walked away with it. They breezed past the Beavercreek Beavers to the tune of 53-21 on Tuesday. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 23 points or more this season.

Fairmont found their leader in freshman Janiyah Hargrave, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. Kaylah Thornton was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Fairmont, bringing their record for this year to 21-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.8 points. As for Beavercreek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Coming up, Fairmont will face off against Lakota West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Beavercreek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
