After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harrison, Lowell was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Andrean Fighting 59ers with a sharp 6-1 victory. Lowell haven't had any issues with Andrean recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lowell's offense was hitting Andrean from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ellie Mirich led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Lowell's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 5-7-1. As for Andrean, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowell will head out to challenge Merrillville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Andrean, they will venture away from home to square off against Lake Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
