            The Southwest EC Eagles will take on the Ramona Bulldogs at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Southwest EC is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
It was a Battle of the Birds when  Southwest EC challenged Gila Ridge on Saturday. Southwest EC blew past Gila Ridge 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups by nine  runs or more  so far this season.

 Jerry Niebla was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Brock London, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Southwest EC  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gila Ridge struck out 16 times.
Meanwhile, Ramona had just enough and edged out Vista  2-1 on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 Justin Jarrett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high.
 At the plate, Ramona saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brayden Santa, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Ramona now  has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Southwest EC, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
 Southwest EC might still be hurting after the  7-0 loss they got from Ramona  when the teams last played  back in March of 2024. Can Southwest EC avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
