Football Recap: Knox Redskins vs. Garrett Railroaders
Knox and Garrett squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Knox had to settle for second. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 41-40 to the Garrett Railroaders. The Redskins' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Knox still got an impressive performance from Myles Mclaughlin, who rushed for 269 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only five passes. Mclaughlin also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making three total tackles. Jake Conroy was another key player, gaining 130 total yards and two touchdowns.

Knox's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Garrett, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0.
Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Garrett, they will take on Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
