Volleyball Game Preview: Herriman Mustangs vs. Bingham Miners

Herriman is a perfect 4-0 against Bingham since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out to challenge the Miners at 6:30 p.m.

Herriman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Corner Canyon, who was ranked tenth at the time (Herriman was ranked sixth). The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Chargers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since April 2, 2024.

While Herriman ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Bingham waltzed into their contest on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Aviators 3-0.

Bingham's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Herriman, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Everything went Herriman's way against Bingham in their previous matchup back in March, as Herriman made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
