Baseball Recap: Plymouth Find Success

Plymouth came out on top against Merrimack Valley on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Pride 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Pride: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Thomas Daigneault, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Plymouth's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-2 (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Noah Shaw was another key player, earning two RBI and one run.

Plymouth now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Merrimack Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
