Fort LeBoeuf was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against General McLane on Wednesday. The Bison put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 16-0 victory. Considering the Bison have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bridget Zaczyk made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lillian McKinney, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ibree Rodgers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Fort LeBoeuf kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as General McLane didn't got any hits.

Fort LeBoeuf's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for General McLane, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.
