Basketball Recap: Manchester Makes It 14 in a Row on the Road

Manchester came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the South Windsor Bobcats 89-71. That's more bragging rights for the Red Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Manchester's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Will Oden-Tann led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 25 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Oden-Tann a new career-high in assists. Derrick Sheets was another key player, going 12 of 16 en route to 29 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Oden-Tann wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Manchester was working as a unit and finished the game with 34 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
