Freer entered their tilt with Benavides on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Freer was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-6.

Freer's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Benavides, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Freer has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Cotulla on the 23rd. As for Benavides, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ben Bolt at 4:30 p.m. on September 12.
