 The Mount Michael Benedictine Knights are on the road again  on Thursday to play the South Sioux City Cardinals at 5:30  p.m. Mount Michael Benedictine will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 25th, while South Sioux City is ranked fourth).
 On Saturday, Mount Michael Benedictine needed a bit of extra time to put away The Platte. They came out on top against The Platte by a score of  2-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Mount Michael Benedictine's Linden Behney and The Platte's Enrique Gomez and  Logan Ksiiazek were all carded.

 Mount Michael Benedictine now  has a winning record of 8-7. As for South Sioux City, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-2.
