Basketball Recap: Linden Tigers vs. Franklin Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plainfield, Linden was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They rang in the new year with a 65-52 win over the Franklin Warriors. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Linden's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jekhi Burnam led the charge by going 9 of 13 en route to 21 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Holman, who posted 14 points and five assists.
