Basketball Game Preview: Chipley Tigers vs. Central Jaguars

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Chipley Tigers take on the Central Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Chipley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 40-36 to Mosley.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Niyonah Garner, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Addyson Suggs, who earned eight points.

Meanwhile, Central lost to Jay on the road by a 65-49 margin on Thursday. The Jaguars have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Chipley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season.
