Soccer Recap: Mckinney Boyd Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for McKinney Boyd, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Princeton Panthers a 2-0 shutout on Friday. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Panthers are ranked 536th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McKinney Boyd has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those six games. Princeton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11-6.

As of now, neither McKinney Boyd nor Princeton have any future games scheduled.
