Soccer Game Preview: Lynbrook vs. Gunn

Lynbrook hasn't had much luck against Gunn recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Lynbrook Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Gunn Titans at 7:00 p.m. Lynbrook's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lynbrook fell victim to Saratoga and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Gunn also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Monta Vista on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Lynbrook's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Gunn, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-3-5.

Lynbrook came up short against Gunn when the teams last played back in February of 2020, falling 2-0. Can Lynbrook avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
