Volleyball Recap: Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh Comes Up Short

Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh lost against Tuscola back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

While Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18.

Rylee Hill paced Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh's offense, picking up three kills. Hill got some help from Addi Heltsley and her eight assists. Hill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh will head out on the road to square off against Westville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuscola, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cerro Gordo/Bement on the 25th.
