Saturday just wasn't the day for Eagan's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Blaine Bengals on Saturday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Eagan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Barry, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Eagan's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Blaine, they pushed their record up to 3-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Eagan has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Kennedy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitcher better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Blaine, they will take on Brainerd at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
