Baseball Recap: Garden Grove's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

Garden Grove dropped their record down to 14-7 on Monday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Segerstrom Jaguars by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Argonauts have suffered since April 12, 2024.

For Segerstrom's part, Marcos Valeriano made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Valeriano also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Segerstrom is 4-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-14 otherwise.
