One thing working in Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.

That makes it two consecutive games in which Pernell has scored at least 25% of Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mykel Patton, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Archbishop Riordan scored an imposing 63 points on Saturday, University still came out on top. University walked away with a 73-63 win over Archbishop Riordan. Winning may never get old, but University sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Their wins bumped Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory to 3-0 and Albany to 2-2.
Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and University were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory came up empty-handed after a 84-83 defeat.
