Softball Recap: Oneonta Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Oneonta, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They came out on top against the Hokes Bluff Eagles by a score of 5-1 on Thursday.

Oneonta's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-13. As for Hokes Bluff, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oneonta beat the Eagles by a score of 5-2 later that day.
