Arvin was the 2-0 winner over Chavez when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans on Tuesday. The Bears' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 25-16.

Danitza Moreno paced Arvin's offense, picking up six kills. Moreno got some help from Destiny Robles and her 14 assists. Finally, Mariana Soto kept Arvin's defense grounded, leading the team with ten blocks.

Arvin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-2. As for Chavez, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Arvin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Legacy Christian Academy on the 28th. As for Chavez, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Granite Hills on the 28th.
