Diamond Hill-Jarvis extends home losing streak to eight

Recap: Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles vs. Dunbar Wildcats

This season hasn't been kind to the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles, who are still winless after their 14th game. They were beaten by Dunbar 73-14 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Diamond Hill-Jarvis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1613th, while Dunbar is ranked 484th).

It was another big night for Jordan McIntosh, who dropped a triple-double on 26 points, 15 rebounds, and ten assists for Dunbar. That's the first time this season that McIntosh posted eight or more assists. Ariel Duran was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis bumped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Dunbar, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

Diamond Hill-Jarvis will head out on the road to face off against Eastern Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunbar, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carter-Riverside at 7:30 p.m.
