Volleyball Game Preview: Marcus Marauders vs. Georgetown Eagles

The Marcus Marauders will face off against the Georgetown Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Marcus is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Marcus' tournament run continued when they took on Clark on Thursday. The Marauders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Georgetown fell 2-0 to Dawson.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Marcus, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Marcus couldn't quite get it done against Georgetown in their previous meeting back in August of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can the Marauders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
