Basketball Game Preview: Evergreen Valley Cougars vs. California Grizzlies + How To Watch

The Evergreen Valley Cougars will challenge the California Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Evergreen Valley saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took a hard 63-45 fall against Leland. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

California not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 5, 2024 (when they won 61-25). They blew past Leland 71-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grizzlies.

California's win came from a few key players Evergreen Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brayde Kuykendall, who posted 20 points. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Jones, who put up 15 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Evergreen Valley fell to 5-1. As for California, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
