Basketball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence lost against Parsons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Independence Bulldogs fell 76-64 to the Parsons Vikings.

Independence has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. The win was the fifth in a row for Parsons, bringing their record for this year to 10-6-1.

Coincidentally, Independence and Parsons will both be playing Chanute the next time they take the court. Independence will host Chanute at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Parsons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
