Softball Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. North Royalton Bears

For the second straight game, Solon will face off against North Royalton. The Comets will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Solon has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Solon managed to slip by North Royalton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Comets came up short against the Bears on Monday, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Comets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Solon's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for North Royalton, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
