South Fayette was the 12-1 winner over Peters Township when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Fayette's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Peters Township, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Peters Township beat South Fayette by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.
