Softball Recap: South-Doyle Takes a Loss

South-Doyle fell victim to Sevier County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Smoky Bears. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cherokees have suffered since March 11th.

South-Doyle's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Sevier County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10.

Looking ahead, South-Doyle will take on Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sevier County, they will host PikeView at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Smoky Bears are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Panthers a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
