Baseball Preview: Macks Creek Pirates vs. Richland Bears

The Macks Creek Pirates will head out on the road to square off against the Richland Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Macks Creek is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Like Macks Creek, Richland also got a great game from a two-way player: Aden Pallai. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Pallai was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Cian Thomas Moriarity was a standout: he went 2-for-2 with two runs, a triple, and two RBI. Phoenix Johnson was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Macks Creek's record is now 1-10. As for Richland, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7.
