There's no place like home for Grayslake Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Grant Community Bulldogs on Tuesday. This was payback for Grayslake Central, who suffered a 6-3 loss the last time these two teams met.
Ann Wolff was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Wolff was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
