Westbrook came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Cromwell, but Peyton Kelleher wouldn't allow it. The Cromwell Panthers simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Westbrook Knights 61-23 thanks in part to Kelleher, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Sadie Rau, who posted five points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Those six boards gave her a new career-high.

Cromwell's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Westbrook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Cromwell will square off against Coginchaug Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coginchaug Regional knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Cromwell likes a good challenge. As for Westbrook, they will welcome East Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
