Volleyball Recap: Green Bay Southwest Takes a Loss

Green Bay Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Waupaca Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their offense was headlined by Alexa Jones and Haley Heath, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Addison Wendt and her two assists.

Green Bay Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Waupaca, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Green Bay Southwest has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against New Holstein on the 20th. As for Waupaca, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sheboygan Christian on the 20th.
