Baseball Recap: Weldon Valley Comes Up Short

Weldon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 25-0 to the Briggsdale Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 23-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Weldon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Weldon Valley will square off against rival Peetz at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Weldon Valley their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Briggsdale is set to take on their familiar foe Otis at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
