Basketball Game Preview: Mission Vista vs. San Dieguito Academy Mustangs

Mission Vista will take on the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Mission Vista and 18 for San Dieguito Academy dating back to last season.

On Wednesday, Mission Vista came up short against Canyon Crest Academy and fell 67-54.

Meanwhile, San Dieguito Academy played a tough game last Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 84-34 loss at the hands of Mt. Carmel. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-12.

San Dieguito Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Mission Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Mission Vista strolled past San Dieguito Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 69-53. Will Mission Vista repeat their success, or does San Dieguito Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
