Douglass posted their closest win since April 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Slocum Mustangs, sneaking past 5-4. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Slocum, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.

Coming up, Douglass will head out on the road to face off against Latexo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Slocum, they will host Apple Springs at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
