Basketball Game Preview: Northside Christian Lions vs. Shekinah Christian Flames

The Northside Christian Lions will square off against the Shekinah Christian Flames at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Saturday, Northside Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away Whitehall-Yearling. They walked away with a 60-53 victory over the Rams. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but the Lions were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Shekinah Christian didn't have too much trouble with Delaware Christian on Saturday as they won 42-28. Given the Flames' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Eagles are ranked 629th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Shekinah Christian's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Northside Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
